Through events, trade missions, research, and strategic advisory, we help bridge the gap between investors and Africa’s most promising sectors.
As our Growth Lead, you won’t just be selling—you’ll be driving the entire revenue engine. From overseeing sales and partnerships to marketing, branding, and communications, this role is perfect for someone who’s as comfortable closing high-value deals as they are leading teams and crafting powerful strategies.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
1. Revenue Generation & Sales Strategy (Your Core Mission)

Own our revenue targets and lead from the front on sales campaigns

Drive income from sponsorships, consulting, trade facilitation, and investor services

Close deals with international investors, DFIs, corporates, and governments

Maximize monetization of our platforms: Deal Rooms, Investment Forums, W2A Trade & Capital

Build sales pipelines using CRM tools (Zoho), Apollo, LinkedIn Navigator, and track performance
2. Marketing, Branding & Communications

Align our messaging with our business goals and sales strategy

Lead digital campaigns with measurable results in mind

Oversee branding, media relations, social media, PR, and advertising

Ensure every touchpoint with our audience reflects value and professionalism
3. Partnership Development & Government Relations

Cultivate strong relationships with trade ministries, embassies, export councils, DFIs, and corporates
-
Represent W2A at key events, trade missions, and strategic engagements
-
Turn connections into strategic deals, collaborations, and sponsorships
4. Team Leadership & Growth Culture

Lead the Growth team – including Sales, Comms, and Branding
-
Coach and mentor team members, drive performance, and hold people accountable

Build a scalable structure that supports W2A’s ambitious expansion
5. Strategy, Innovation & Alignment

Work closely with other departments to keep everyone moving in the same direction

Advise the CEO on new revenue models, market shifts, and strategic positioning

Explore new growth opportunities and shape the future of W2A’s business model
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

8–12 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, or marketing
-
Proven record of closing high-value B2B or consulting deals

Strong understanding of investment, trade facilitation, and client engagement

Skilled in digital marketing tools, CRMs (Zoho), and prospecting tools like Apollo and LinkedIn
